MICHAEL G. HELMS

Michael G. Helms is a shareholder and one of the founding members of Helms & Denea, P.C.  He represents corporate and individual clients in civil litigation matters in all civil and appellate courts.  His practice includes commercial and business litigation, trademark litigation, medical malpractice cases, fraud cases, personal injury cases, bankruptcy litigation, and alternative dispute resolution.  Mr. Helms has tried more than 400 cases, including more than 135 jury trials.  He has been counsel of record on cases resulting in more than 40 published court opinions.  For a citation list, click here.

Mr. Helms is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the Nebraska State Bar, and the Maricopa County Bar Association.

MICHAEL PHILIP DENEA

Prior to forming Helms & Denea in 2003, Mr. Denea was counsel for the Arizona Automobile Dealer’s Association, and an associate with the law firm of Lieberman, Dodge, Gerding, Kothe & Anderson, where he practiced administrative law relative to professional licensure issues and criminal defense.   He has an active trial practice, and accepts criminal cases up on appeal or post-verdict proceedings.  He has handled hundreds of cases since founding this firm in 2003.
